Perfect pattern as always! I loved making this, it worked up really quickly too which is always a plus. I made the strap a little shorter because I made it for my 4 year old niece who loves purses!

Pattern is clear and video tutorial is very helpful. I love how mine turned out. I will be making this in other colors and sizes. For my bag, I used loops and threads classic cotton (weight 4) in the color chiffon and hook sizes based on pattern recommendations. I also followed the pattern guidelines for the large size bag since I'll be using it for the beach. It fits a lot of stuff and doesn't stretch too much.

Why this one actually gets finished
check_circle
Gauge is not critical
No swatching. No starting over because your tension runs tight.
check_circle
No sewing. Anywhere.
Handles are crocheted straight in. There is no assembly stage to get wrong.

Use the yarn you own
Any worsted cotton, about two balls. Four tested substitutes included.

"I'm a beginner."
Six stitches, only two of them special. Both written out and shown in the video.
check_circle
"I'll get the gauge wrong."
Gauge is not critical here. Mesh stretches — that's the point.
check_circle
"I don't have that yarn."
Any worsted cotton works. Four tested substitutes with yardage included.
check_circle
"I'm bad at sewing pieces."
Nothing to sew. One piece from the base up, handles crocheted straight in.

"What if I don't like it?"
